I can safely say 'no'. Flight Sim is far too advanced for a console game.

I dont think that is possible unless it is completely arcade style :( because Xbox360 controllers only have  only 6 or so buttons on it, while on a computer you can have a-lot of buttons and you can click easily on the 2d and virtual cockpit. But mabye there will be a X360 version...who knows ???

yeh, but you can easily use a microsoft recognised keyboard with it, and most likley a Sidewinder joystick. they did the same for the first mechassualt. maybe they will learn to not charge it at a high

FS is far more technical than MechAssault. I can almost guarantee not. If MS was smart, they would stay on the course of PCs for FS.

It's already confirmed FSX will be shipped on DVD's. And likely more than one.

I don't want to have to switch disks when flying from New York to London on Xbox, halfway over the Atlantic ::)

yeh that could be annoying, especially if you can have dogfights, and the game lags and you get shot down because u have to change disks.

I wouldn't necessarily say that you have to switch discs. Based on our experience with FS2k, FS2k2 and FS9, you would use the additional disc to complete the installation while only one is needed to actually run the sim.

This concept works well for the PC, but it will not be appreciated by the console user who is use to just putting in the disc and play rather than wait ten minutes for it to be installed.

The Xbox controller dosn't have enough keys to do everything for a sim.

I once had a vision for a Flight simulation game for the N64....and that only had 12 buttons plus the center stick.

It won't be exclusively for X360 because in my opinion it would be a financial disaster and bad economic move. If I was in charge of M$ I wouldn't even dare think of making the FS series strictly for the X360.

Besides, as everyone has seen in the many screenshots and official reports from M$ Game Studios, FSX will mainly be for the PC that operates DX9 and XP. It will then be updated with a "free patch" by M$ when DX10 and Vista come out.

Besides, as some people have already mentioned, the X360 conntrollers can be used on the PC.
