Ghost Track

I got this idea last night while trying to do formation take-offs and landings with myself (believe me, it's not very easy).  What if you had the possiblitly of flying, and recording a track of your flight, but playing that track as you flew with it, like the "ghosts" in some racing games that save your best lap and allow you to race yourself.  It wouldn't be very hard, they would only have to record a couple of things (speed, altitude, bank angles, pitch, etc...) and replay it so you could fly along with another aircraft of your choice and go where you wanted to go.  Just another crazy idea....;) :)

That's what made it really hard (the flying that is (I can see this going in a very bad direction...::) ;D)), remembering where I had just gone, so I could fly in formation with myself from the last flight I did :P.  It's awfully easy to fly in formation with only one aircraft, since there really is nobody else there to fly on the wing of, and I was looking for a challenge and since no-one was online to fly with, I thought, "hey, wouldn't it be a great idea if I could record a flight, then fly with that track". ;D ;)

Wow, that was one of the most confusing post I have ever written.....sorry...... :P ;D ;)

Microsoft better catch up in that case because Laminar's X-Plane already has that feature. I was flying against myself in a Mig-29 Fulcrum. ;D

Yes, but I never know when I'm going to have time to log on or anything, I usually just check quick to see if anybody is on. :P ;)
