Fave airports function

Postby kipman725 » Thu May 04, 2006 11:54 am

If anyone at Microsoft is reading this could there be a book mark function built into the airport selection screen as I imagain most of us fly from only a few airports regualy and it takes ages to serch the huge database of airports and airport codes (at least for me) are hard to remember.  It woulden't take much work to add this feature  ;D

That's correct - but if you enter into one of the default Cessna flight, and JUST change the airport and SAVE the flight.  You have a ready made flight with the default conditions already set for your enjoyment.!

Now, having said all above, I can see that one benefit of such a feature would be for VAs to have their destinations easily available in a drop down box, OR have another searchable drop down box called, like you say, "favorites" where you have "My VA"  "My GA"  etc, and just show those airports in the display.

All in all, not a bad idea.
