Well that little video clip is a "Holy Crap" moment!   :o ;D

The mesh when you are near the ground looks no different from my fs 2004 sim with FSGenesis mesh installed....... but the spherical Earth makes a huge difference.

Not sure I'll see it much cause I am not into space flight...... but it is interesting.  ;)

best,

It looks great, and I think that even if you can only go into low earth orbit or something, its gonna be nice to get some craft of the future, such as Space Ship One.

I really am more intrigued by the atmosphere color change AND the SPHERICAL WORLD!

Guys, It is FSX!  Look at their website for once!  http://www.fsinsider.com/articles/Global_Terrain_Technology.htm

Look at the video!

If you look closely on the top of the link's page, there is a downloadable slide show that clearly shows how the seasons change in FSX. Very interesting.

You should see it initially on the very top page. The titles of the links are highlighted.

I can't for the life of me find anything that remotely looks like that at the top of the page that the link in the message a couple above this one goes to.

I call fake on the picture.. thats not flight simulator.  The parking brakes logo has been added on.  In flight simulator the log is at the bottom left but here there is some black beyond it.  Also since when did fs9 have cross hairs.  Looks more like a modified orbiter or simlar screenshot.

It is FS, just go into the "Top-Down" view, and zoom really far out, and you can see the entire earth. ;)
