Postby N051391 » Tue Apr 04, 2006 8:51 pm

Wouldn't it be cool if during severe thunderstorm there was a tornado, or rotation in the clouds, with the green tint and everything? or a waterspout off shore?? i think it would be pretty cool is FSX lol what do you guys think? ;D

well, if you are flying...and there is thunderstorm and there was a tornado, tornadoes can happen at anytime, but in real life, would ATC advice you to land at nearest airport? kind of off topic but what would happen?

I know in fs9 there is no weather gauge with real working NEXRAD or doppler to show position of storm cells. maybe fsx will have that? i hope.

Wasn't there some scenery files for FS02 that gave you a tornado?  I don't think it got all windy, but it looked pretty cool.

Hail would be neat.  You get on the ground and your plane has been reduced to a wadded pile of aluminum.

Idiot lol, so I guess noaa is abunch of idiots researching wheather and fundamenta values which create wind (flying into bad wheather "T storms"), air pressure and so on. BTW as a real pilot, you might approach on a heavy thunderstorm any second, so it should be apparent that you need to respect mother nature lol...... ;D

Well if you won't to no the real truth about that question next time you have bad weather go to flightaware and put in the airport to see the # of aircrafts that are flying around Tornados or waterspout, you will be very much surprise.Flyboy28 how long have you been flying.Check out the NTSB reports and you will find out some awesome idiots are still out there ;D.I talked to a airbus pilot just the another day,he said they have to go they pick around the bad junk of weather and hang on.The only time you don't take-off or land if a cell is close to the airport then you may find and idiot who thinks he can make it and talk about it. And ATC well not tell you to land because of a tornado they just look a each other to see if the idiot will make it through.I have a Co-pilot who rides part time with me in the King Air 200 and he will tell you that its and whole new ball game up in the air  :oand when he is in the ATC seat  he will say different ball game on the ground :D

Flying during a hailstorm, tornado, or waterspout? IM TELLING THE FAA ON YOU!!!! But, really, who would do that, unless they want their liscence revoked?? I wouldn't!!! Even though Im NOT a COMPLETE idiot, I would fly a Piper J-3 Cub straight through the tornado. MWA HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! (JUST FOR FUN)
(F.Y.I, I've been flying in FlightSim for about 3 years now....... so about......... probably 100 hours or so in that Cessna!)
