new default aircraft on fsx

what new default aircraft do you think we will see in fsx
im thinking maby the A380 would be a nice adition. along with the 7e7 or 787. lets keep it realistik and think of aircraft that we might see in real life in years to come because fs 2004 was all about the past now fsx is all about the future any guesses.

This has been covered a few times already. The general consensus was that no one really gives a sh#t and can't wait for the add-on aircraft due to them being of a higher quality.
Still I would like the DC3 to remain as a default.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

judging from that page you have shown you mis under stood like one of my other recent topics what i am asking what i am asking is what do we think micro soft would consider puting in the game not what you would like seen put in there is a diferince not huge but there is
also i did read somewhere that the people who made the default aircraft realized the lack of quality that the default aircraft have so we might see some high quality models for default aircraft in fsx

I still highly doubt airbus will be included as default. I am thinking the new 777 and 7E7 will be included possibly.
We've seen some of the new light aircraft like the beaver.

The Ultralight should be some fun MP.

probably since Boeing and Msft have some close ties, other than being practically* in the same area. makes it easier for the design team rather than travel to france.

although some european talent wouldn't hurt.

Rather than spending a lot of time working on a bunch of new default aircraft I'd instead like to see flight model support for different types of aircraft.

Someone mentioned ultralight. That would be nice. At present the flight characteristics for ultralight aircraft in the sim aren't very good. They fly so slow and have so little weight that designers need to do a lot of tweaking on the files to get anything approaching realistic flight for such tiny craft.

I'd also love to see support for some military airplanes like vectored thrust and VTOL. There's also the helicoptor flight model to work on. It's only barely OK at present.

What about lighter than air craft? Anyone seen Bill Lyons Graf Zepplen? That's a work of art and one of my favorites. Bill is a genius at airfiles but if MS included support for lighter than air he could really work wonders with things like the Graf.

All I'd like is just enough new airplanes to keep me entertained until the freeware and payware designers can work their magic. That's what I usually fly anyway.

That's a good point Matt.

In addition to what he said, I also hope M$ adds support for ground-based addons as well.

Anyways, I like the selection of defaults that M$ has set up. A nice float plane, fun-looking ultralight, etc. Those defaults should keep us entertained for a good while.

maby more realistic flight dynamics would be in order like if an aircraft goes over speed i dont think it violently and sharply shakes up and down like it dose in 04. and  not have a magical glass dome that  instantly stops any thing from going above 100000 ft

At the very least, M$ should raise the 100k barrier, if they can't remove altogether.

That's what happens with real aircraft. A lot of aircraft have been lost, particularly test aircraft, when they have been pushed beyond their limit, some literally shaking themselves apart.
