check this out, it's a video of the first output of a japanese satilight that can create 3d images of the earth using stereo cameras.  Notice how it has slopes steeper than vertical.  It can capture objects as small as 2.5m accross.

yep 2.5m minimum object size. It would rearly benifit humanity as a whole as well as the flight sim comunity if the data from this satilight was released to the public.

But that could pose a problem as it would also model some veichels <(sorry about spelling)

1. It's spelled "vehicles"
2. Are you referring to the privacy issue that those crazed and over-the-top advocates are talking about?

Privacy issue? with this nah not unless your trying to hide your new shed.
