He also writes that all the listed features are to date (09.09.2005) not yet 100% confirmed

In the past Ive learned a  thing or two about the pending release of software
  • the pre-release speculation often makes the expectaions of the software very high and when it gets released everybody is disappointed when the software doesnt live up to the speculation

Microsoft launched Live Local with bird's eye view a few months back. Theyve only mapped out a few cities and its suburbs, but they could have used info from that to map the higher res areas? Check it out-> google live local, i think its the first one.
