It would be really cool if FSX had accumulating snow! 8) What if we could set the amount of accumulation on the ground. Just dremin up stuff! ::)

fshelper.bravenet.com-whats your favoriye fs site? tell me at robinrocks_fshelper@yahoo.com. Fshelper is evetualy going to be a index of all fs2004 (FSX too?) addons sites.

don't bother buying FSE, Rwy12 does the same thing for FREE

Do you know how hard your computer would have to work to render accumulating snow?

Aren't snow effects good enough?

As far as the poll is concerened, FSX hasn't been released yet, so nobody really knows how well it will run on their systems ;)

I'd like accumulation on areas like the runways, that is do-able simply because it contains the actual area to just the airport boundries.

acumulating snow is the kind of thing that will be around in 5years pc's now could do it with a ppu but the FPS would be below one it's just so crazily complex.  Millions of small objects all coliding and then forming new objects and each object as detiled as a snow flake, is going to kill anything out there.

I don't really fly in snow (can't imagine why, though...) so I'm just fine with the default snow effects.

As for the poll, my rig can scarcely run FS9 with half-decent visuals, let alone FSX! Hell, I'm buying a new rig soon, and I'd doubt if even it can run FSX...

My sim works fine in my rig [it's a laptop - just to remind you]. However, I do agree on the buying-a-new-rig idea. I'm building up my credit so that I can buy a more powerful computer online.

I don't think my PC will be able to handle FSX...  :'( :'(

All you need Ashar is your new PSU to arrive (has it come yet, by the way?) and then you can put microsoft to shame with your system! :D
