M$ announces FS10

Postby garymbuska » Fri Jan 06, 2006 10:22 am

Well it is official according to Microsoft they plan on relasing FS10 around the holiday season this year.
They have a lot of questions and answers at the site on FS10, from what I have read WINDOWS VISTA will not be a requirement but without it you will not be able to enjoy all the bells and whistles that will be in FS10.
They say they plan on making it where it can be used by a vast majority of gammers without having to update there current systems.
And as allways it will be able to put addons easily.  They are not ready to disclose on the vendors that are all ready making addons for FS10. But they claim to have a lot of vendors lined up. 8)

Any idea when " . . . scheduled to land on shelves Holiday 2006!" is?

I don't see Holiday 2006 on the Gregorian calendar.

Sometime in the 4th quarter and during the holiday season. That's all MS has told us, and now you know as much as the rest of us ;)

For those of us who don't know all our American terms, what sort of dates are the so called "holiday season". For me over this side of the Atlantic I would take that to mean either mid July to early September or Christmas... :o :)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
