DVD Disc on CD Drive

Postby Radopilot » Mon Feb 06, 2006 7:17 pm

I really want to buy FSX when it comes out, but i heard its coming out on DVD-CD. Will it be able to work on my current CD drive for regular cds such as the previous FS games or do i have to buy a DVD drive?

Best Regards

DVD's can't be used with a regular CD-ROM, if that's what you're asking

If you have a newer PC it should have come with a DVD ROM.

I saw a DVD+RW on sale for $30 about a month ago. They're not that expensive anymore.

Dude, one question?

Do you know anything about building computers? Cus

#1 I just got a Samsung DVD burner for $40.
#2 a DVD drive goes in your drive bay, not on your motherboard
#3 you would remove your CD drive and replace it with the DVD drive

Cheers

if you have no internal, and you are desperate, go external.

i know fra fact i bought a $110 DVD+RW for $30 at a Tiger Diret outlet store. do an outlet store, best options there.

Have any grandparents or older relatives living close to you that can't (won't) cut thier own grass? I cut 3 yards a week, my grandparents and thier two neighbors' yards, $120 a week. Mind you, this is in Collingswood and the lots are approxamatly 100'x200'.

Seriously, though,
Got a Samsung dual layer combo drive for $50.00 one month ago and didn't have to mow anyone's lawn.

I'm on the Air Force Payroll [semi-monthly], so I don't have to mow any lawns either [unless it's a direct order]. ;D
