FSRecorder ver 1 vs ver 2

Anyone familiar with the newer version of FSX's FSRecorder?

I've found that version 1 has a 'bug' of sorts:

example - recording a KC-46 that uses the tailhook command to deploy the tail boom will record the deployment (as long as tailhook is checked in the data setting), and if you use 'play' with the recording, the recording will deploy the boom as you are flying the recording.

BUT, if you use 'play as traffic' with the recording, the boom never deploys so you can't use the recording to practice aerial refueling like with flying an F18 and 'play as traffic' the recorded KC-46 tanker to refuel from - the boom never deploys... (well, you can snug up the the retracted boom and refuel, but it's crazy too close to the tanker!!!).

Has this been 'fixed' in version 2?

NOTE: I think if you're flying another KC-46 (ie aircraft similar to the recorded one) and run the recording of the KC-46, it will deploy, but that's silly and no help... will verify that later

OK - so, 'play as traffic' will show aircraft surface control animations like: landing gear up/dn, rudder L/R, aileron movement, elevator up/dn, lights on/off, etc... but won't show tailhook!?!

I don't remember about the hook animation to be honest...
However, it seems to me that some AI refuellers were set with automatic deployment of the boom after takeoff/gears up to prevent this kind of issue.

I found online a link to what seems to be the manual of FSRecorder, and it explicitely mentions the tailhook animation being recorded, provided you set up the options correctly in the recorder:
Also the discussion here is mentioning this option:
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=66798

In general, I wouldn't recommend you to keep the version 1 if a version 2 exists.

Roger - it 'records' tailhook and on 'play' the tailhook deploys, so since the data is there, why does it not deploy upon 'play as traffic'?

problem is - will version 2 fix this issue?
because to use ver 2, I'll have to uninstall ver 1, AND run the conversion on every single recording from ver 1... a lot of trouble if it doesn't even help! (not to mention ver 2 is a freakin' beta...)

Can someone VERIFY ver 2 will actually deploy tailhook (ie tanker boom) on PLAY AS TRAFFIC ?

I've tried using AI traffic but they do not fly 'smoothly'... kinda jerk forward a lot :-(

OMG!

OK, so following my recorded tanker with another same kind of taker, and there's still no boom deployed on the recorded 'play as traffic' tanker... then it gets weird ~ if I deploy the boom in my aircraft, voila - the recorded tanker deploys its boom (how crazy is that!?!) - I retract, it retracts...

...as a work around, is there any aircraft files out there where three booms are deployed permanently? (kinda like with the KC-135T Drogue Extended model) Or, is there any way to edit the A330MRTT aircraft to have it's boom/pods deployed permanently?

here's my single boom aerial refueling YouTube video w/(3) aircraft (F14, F18, SU34 to KC-135T):
