Hello Dbob - Could I please request the Air Canada livery for the Airbus A321XLR?

It's fictional at this point, but Air Canada has some on order.

Thank you in advance.

I've uploaded it, so it should appear in the next few hours. You can find an early preview here: https://www.facebook.com/people/Dbobs-L ... 372415602/.

Just a quick disclaimer for anyone reading: I only do requests if I am likely to fly them, or like the livery, as I'm very busy at the moment.

If we're on the subject of the A321, there does seem to be a need for a freeware GlobalX edition for FSX/P3D.

N570TA appears to be a starting point for a pax model, but I can't seem to get a shot of the left side of her to confirm if there is a G on the tail or an X. The right side sports the G, but the only extant photos I can find of the left side have the X. Cargo models all have the X on both sides. I'd paint this one myself, if I had the definitive answer.

N277GX has confirmed bilateral symmetry, with a livery that compliments the solid color A320s in FSX/P3D.

With the A321 coming with MSFS24, and the A320 also coming (and paints existing for both), a GlobalX VA would seem like a natural thing to do...so I launched one on FS Hub, converting what had become a structure-less Comlux Malta VA into something a bit more definite and closer to home.

Thanks as always. This site and its' contributors are doing wonders for keeping the older platforms going.

First of all, the VA is a great idea. I'll only make this one once I've managed to gather some more info on the tail...

Thanks, Dbob. The pictured plane might be the one to do, since there are already solid blue and solid white A320s out there in freewareland. It would take me hours to get the color swoop on the fuse right. Solid color paints I can likely do, with sufficient info. I have 4 pages of downloads, mostly paints, at Avsim. Consider that I only work with Photoshop Elements and am completely self-taught. Knowing one's limits is a form of wisdom.
