Hi,

Does anyone know of a good freeware Piper Cherokee 180 with a VC for FSX?

Kind Regards

As far as I know, there has never been any FSX-native freeware Piper PA-28 180. The only model I'm aware of was made for FS9, and it's mostly compatible with FSX. You can probably find it here in the FS2004 downloads section.
The best PA-28 180 is payware unfortunately. It is made by A2A and it has an Accusim extension which really brings it to life. Quite expensive, but worth it.

Thank you! I was just trying my luck with a freeware addon, as my performance can be quite bad. I'll take a look at the A2A one.

There is small selection of fsx native PA28's. One example I worked on a while back

Thank you Chris! It works really well. I used to fly the Cherokee, but I'm now training in the warrior, so that's why I didn't want to splash out on a fancy one.

Once again, Thank you!

I just managed to make one (technically). I used the Cherokee 140 (OY-DHD), and edited some of the gauges, and more importantly, the engine specs. It seems to handle like the real thing.
