more freewares

Hello partners!!! <<v <<v
(There were many problems, power outages, and many things that required my attention...I'm still working with the freeware iris texan, the 737, and the a319...among others)

but i got off topic...
As the title says... I found freewares!!!!

the PIPER ARROW from the company CLS (commercial level simulations)
(yes, I know, I'm a fool... that freeware has been around for many years... but I just discovered it today)
(you will find it on the official page...it has its own freeware license code)

searching and searching...I traveled sea and land to find Robert Richardson's BEAGLE PUP plane...I couldn't find it anywhere (his page is down...I think so)
and also.....the BELL B429 GLOBAL RANGER by SERGIO KAUFMANN ACOSTA for FSX (or also by george arana, eagle rotorcraft simulations..etc...very confusing really)
(it's really confusing because there is a version of fs9 here in simviation... and versions of xplane... and although many sites mention that the fsx version is ALREADY out... there are no sites to download it) (they deleted them )

well... I found both!!!
rob richardson's beagle pup .. and the bell 429

here and here:
https://www.cixvfrclub.org.uk/aircraft/ ... aft_fs.php
https://www.helisimmer.com/news/eagle-r ... 22-429-fsx

It cost me so much to find them that it would be better if they were published here in simviation... don't you think?

I want to clarify that the bell 429 appears in BOTH links...helisimmer's is the complete version....and in the other (cixcfrclub) only the simple version with a single texture.
(in cixcfrclub there is the beagle pup with only one texture)

The ones I mention (bell 429 and beagle pup) are complete models....there are more links on those pages...but only for textures

If anyone has tried them let me know how it went. <<r <<v

disappointment... the BEAGLE PUP doesn't work properly....
when loading the plane on the stage... it produces a "crash" due to "structural damage due to overstress".
(I'm sure something in the aircraft.cfg is wrong)

but I was able to take a "quick look" at the model (before it "crashed")
I loaded the plane... and PAUSEd the simulation. When I changed the cameras I saw that it is a very good model (external is good...and VC too...it has a lot of detail inside)

I'll try the bell 429 (it's in both links..but they are different versions)..to let you know if it works well.

CLS PIPER ARROW mini review:
no, it doesn't pass... it's complete, it has a "decent" modeling, its vc looks VERY outdated but functional... quite complete in systems.
...but you have to install it using the CLS installer, plus the KEY. (its free)

in comparison the freeware PWDT ZLIN Z-142 is much better...much better modeling (internal and external, feels newer) and is more complex to fly.

summary: for a small single engine low wing aircraft....especially if you are looking for a basic primary trainer....the zlin 142 is much better and more complex. (and better modeling)

Re the Pup - have you got the patch?

beagle_pup_fde_updatev1_0.zip

I got it from RR's website when it was active. No idea if it makes a difference as I don't have the z/c installed at the moment.

hello!!!! sorry for late response...

I didn't know anything about an update... but from what I've seen and tested...I don't need it anymore...as a primary training plane I decided to choose the ZLIN Z142, and the RYAN NAVION B (low wing, single engine)

I leave as a record that I will be testing all these models mentioned (I still need the bell 429)... I will do it, and I will bring my report. <<r

I have tried the bell 429, it works fine, the versions that are in both links (one is "complete", and the other only a specific version)
...but my poor pc has FPS problems, and... strangely I tend to have quite difficult (very sensitive) flight control.
nothing more....the model is excellent, the vc and its systems the same.

I'm asking here so I don't open a new thread.
Does anyone know of any SUPER ETENDARD freeware for fsx? (I guess it will work fine for fsx-SE)

I see that there is one called royal french navy... but the link is broken :?
royalfrenchnavy.perso.sfr.fr/RFN-Creations.htm
(several pages send me there)

and the other
http://royalefrenchnavy.restauravia.fr/RFN-Avions.htm
the version called
"Étendard IVM and IVP version 2.0 for FSX-Acceleration and P3D v1 to 3"
I guess it's the same... and it's the version for fsx-se
(it confuses me that one is called rfn, and the other comes from restauravia)

Can someone confirm that it is the same? (and if it is the latest version)

I want it on record that I intend to evaluate all of the above models (with the exception of the bell 429, which I still need). I'll get to work on it, and I'll report back.
