FSX not showing correct time per my computer

Hi All
When i launch FSX and click Free Flight, Box 4 CURRENT TIME AND SEASON, the date and time is incorrect,
example: im in uk, its 01 May 2022 time is 16.46 GMT
Box 4 reads 21 Apr 2022 time is 11:53.
In addition to this there is an issue downloading the Real World Weather as it tells me im not connected to the internet.
I feel these 2 issues are related.
Can anyone help?

I guess the first question is are you sure you are connected to the internet with FSX? simconnect problem maybe?

Reasonable enough question.
I am using FSX Steam addition and therefore would assume its connected to the internet. Also my main computer is also connected hard wired to the internet.
Is there somewhere else in FSX that I need to connect to the internet through?

I am not the one to answer that. I would just be guessing.
Real world weather does not work now. Microsoft disabled that a long time ago. I use another program for weather. When connecting, does it connect to your steam account? Just guessing here.
Under "settings-general", do you have "use system time for free flight" ticked?
