FSX: Steam Edition any good?

Postby JackLeach » Fri Apr 23, 2021 12:18 pm

I haven't played any flight sims in 10+ years and was looking for something I can just chill out on, preferably with multiplayer, but I've seen a lot of people doing down the Steam edition of FSX. Is it really that bad? If so, what's a good alternative?

I used FSX from when it came out in 2006 until the end of last year, when I finally switched to P3D. The Steam edition is the best-optimized and most bulletproof version you can buy, and a steal at $30 (or $8 on sale). The program probably has more freeware and payware addons available than all the others combined. Get it.
