i keep downloading fsx aircraft meant to work with both 2004 and x and i keep removing the aircraft.cfg that doesnt have the fsx name in it...

but those aircraft never work!!

please tell me what to do...

It would help if you can give us an example.

With some FS9/FSX downloads it involves renaming the FSX file to aircraft.cfg after removing the original FS9 file.

Edit: I've just found this example.



In this case you can delete the file named Aircraft.cfg & rename the file named AircraftFSX.cfg to Aircraft.cfg
