Hi all,

I'm duplicating here the topic created in the P3D section, because it's also valid for FSX

A2A has recently announced that they are offering their warbird P-40 with Accusim for free, in an effort to support the community during this difficult period.
You just need to log on to their store (you need an account, you can create one for free of course) and "buy" the P40 for 0 dollars, if I understood correctly.

For those who don't know what Accusim aircrafts are about, they are simply the definition of "high quality" or "realistic" addons.
Accusim brings in some unique features that make the aircraft alive.
The simulation of the engine behavior and the various mechanical and electrical systems/organs is way beyond any other addon makers.
Accusim is able to simulate many things that the simulator itself isn't. If you never owned any Accusim aircraft, now is your chance to understand what many of us have been bragging about for all these years

Of course now the A2A servers seem to suffer a bit from this announcement, so you may have to use a lot of patience

I'm a bit surprised by the low amount of reactions...
Guys, you're not going to see such a high quality "freeware" any time soon.
The offer will end tomorrow and you shouldn't miss it.

For those who are afraid of the potential FPS impact of payware/high detailled aircrafts, please know that A2A aircrafts are known to be very light on the FPS. So you really shouldn't hesitate.

A big thanks and thumbs up to Daube from me - now the most frame rate friendly aircraft I have. It looks brilliant and handles beautifully. Pity the gun seems to be jammed on mine...

I’m now considering buying another one from them, so maybe the company will do alright out of it. They deserve to. Worth persevering if you are having trouble accessing their server.

Beautiful airplane and realistic to fly. The only problem I have is that I can't retract de landing gear with the "G" button or use the flaps with F6 or F7

You have to press the hydraulic switch on top of the control column for the hydraulic pump to work. You can map a button on your joystick to make it easier or open the accusim screen shift +3 and select auto hydraulic pump.
