Hello,

The model and vc are really nice along with the sound set. I have a question regarding a pulsating beeping noise when the flaps are extended beyond the first notch, and where the gear has not yet been extended. I also get the pulsating beeping noise when the gear has been retracted after take-off and the flaps are also gradually being retracted. How do you get rid of the noise? Is there something in the settings?

Another question. What speeds should be flown with the various flap settings?

I encountered this problem, too, while testing the imaginary A380-F freighter models. Look to the aircraft.cfg file, its [gear_warning_system] section where that model has flap_limit_idle and flap_limit_power set to 5, 5.5 flap angle by default. I changed both to 32.0, so the gear up warning will only sound during full flaps position, during final approach.

Stephen Corry published an A380 checklist, available from other flightsim sites (a380_checklist-1.zip); it shows the following flap\speed table:

250 - flaps up
210 - flaps position 1
180 - flaps position 2
170 - flaps position 3
165 - full flaps (flaps position 5)

Takeoff - flaps position 1

And always, always remember to make a backup copy of the aircraft.cfg file, of any config file, before you start editing.
