I added the three items as per instructions.

The heading "{Window07]" in the 3rd one does not show up in yellow background in the 747 "plan.cfg" as the other existing headings.

Has anybody managed to make it work ?.

What are you talking about ?

It works fine for me. (You can also toggle the pop-up with Shift + 8 )






I suggest carefully checking your new Panel.cfg entries for errors. They have to be exactly right & spelt correctly or it won't work. (I use copy/paste from the Readme.)
This is how mine looks in the default 747.
First the header

I studied your 747 cfg & althou mine was the same I still copyed
/pasted your [windows] 7 in to mine but, unfortunately I still get the small black window at the middle centre of cockpit view.

And now on another subject altogether, in my 747 panel.cfg for the FMC I have to change size & position Nos. but whatever combination I put in it the FMC icon still does not show up in cockpit, is there a trick in finding the correct Nos. without the laborious trial & error?

I notice your first bracket on the above {Window07] entry is incorrect. Did you change it for posting here on the forum? It should be like this [Window07]
Otherwise I can only assume that you didn't install the gauge correctly. I suggest pasting Flypad.CAB into your FSX\Gauges folder so it can be used on other panels.

It's difficult to suggest anything as I'm not sure which FMC you're having problems with. Is this in 2D panel or VC view?

I changed my [Windows07] header to {Windows07] & this is what I got.



I think that solves the problem.
