Hi guys!

I have FSX Deluxe installed on E drive on my computer. I'm buying FSX Steam as it has Acceleration too and I intend installing it on my D drive.

The questions are:

1. Can they both exist side by side on the same computer but on different drives without conflicts?

2. Some addons like ORBX install automatically and thus would install to FSX and not FSX Steam. Is there any way around this problem? How would I get them to install to Steam instead?

Uninstalling the Deluxe version, well...that's not going to happen as I have tons of addons in there, some paid some freeware. I ain't in the mood to risk losing them!!

1. Yes no problem

2. I get around this by electing FSXSE as my main sim. FSXA as a testbed.

If after the dual install some programs recognise as FSX the boxed edition, then use "FSX TweakFS Registry Utility V1.21" (google)

Then you can set the FSX SE path in the registry and the installers should go to FSX SE
