Nose wheel steering problem

Postby Hawkeye07 » Sat May 12, 2018 10:37 pm

I downloaded Erick Cantu/Eagle Rotorcraft Simulations Embraer EMB-120 and added it to my FSX (Gold Edition) simulator. Great aircraft except for one annoying glitch.
The aircraft only shows the nose gear turning to the right. The aircraft will turn to the left but the nose wheel doesn't turn left, it stays straight. Right turns are normal.
I've tried adjusting the steering angle - no joy. I checked the auto_braking and differential_braking and again - no joy.

Does anyone know a fix for this problem?

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.

Did you see this? Do you have the 'old' release?

Thanks Chuck! I see what I think was the problem. As you can see in the attached jpeg they must have used the ORIGINAL FSX conversion ,v1.0, not the updated v1.1.
I'm sure glad you knew that. I was getting ready to delete the whole thing. The v1.1 version works great. Thanks again!!
