I just got FSX steam and I have a question. How do I turn off that annoying voice that tells me when I'm on a taxiway, appraoching ANYTHING!, and generally wont shut up on the ground. I dont remember hearing any of that with the boxed version.

You have added something, does not occur in the sim naturally.

My bet is you added FS2Crew's RAAS utility as this is the only program that I know of that does this

It came with these add-ons;
3D Lights Redux add-on
Accu-Feel
FTX Trees HD add-on
RAAS Profesional add-on
and
Rex 4 Texture Direct add-on.
I found out the culprit, its RAAS Profesional, and upon further investigation it is very tunable to what you want it to do. Looks like a good program, I just have to tune it up a bit
