FSX issue: Ailerons stuck in bank left angle

I have never had this problem before, and it is going to sound weird, but when I was trying to do a flight from Pittsburgh to Atlanta today in a McDonnell Douglas MD90, for some reason, my ailerons are stuck in a left bank angle. This problem wasn't there yesterday, when I did a flight to Alaska. I am trying to do part 2 of a flight from Pittsburgh to Montego Bay Jamaica via atlanta in an Airbus A320, operated by Delta, and I have the same problem on that aircraft as the one I flew from Pittsburgh to Atlanta. The ailerons are stuck in a left bank angle. I don't know how my controls got messed up like this, and after checking the controls section of FSX, I can't seem to know where to locate the problem. I need help before I do any more flights. any suggestions on what I should do? Has anybody had this problem that I am having?

Regards,
Evan <<v

Have you un-plugged your controller to see if they straighten out?

The first thing to do is calibrate your stick/controller. That should fix it but if not then just use your trim sliders or wheels on the controller to level the wings. Good luck.

Problems with the controller?....>>>

The first thing to do...>>>

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Joystick > (Right Click) > Game Controller Settings > Properties......

Operate all the controls and make sure everything is working correctly on the on-screen display!

The joystick/controller may be faulty/worn-out......past its; "use-by date"?.......time for a new one?

Paul....with a Stick of Joy... :D ...!

I agree with Dave T., check your auto pilot.

I looked in there and I think I saw something that doesn't look right. There seems to be a problem with the X and Y Axis, but I want to confirm that is the problem. Here's a screenshot I took of it:

In the X-Y axis, most Flight Controllers spring to centre when released.
Try rotating the joystick around all 4 corners of the square, to prove its working correctly, and then release it.... does it settle back in the centre position of the square, under the power of the centralizing spring?

Paul.....traumatized.... ;) ....!

That shows that your joystick needs calibrating.

I took care of that, and it fixed the problem, but the rudder is still stuck in a slight right turn. I'll need to fix that later. But I fixed the ailerons. <<r

Oww! Ouch! Yes, in circles if only one foot is nailed to the floor -- if both are nailed, turn on the music and do the twist!
;)

Thats great that you fixed the Ailerons, thanks for the feedback.
The easiest way to get your rudder back to centre would be to use your rudder trim wheel/slider on your joystick. Just fly the airplane and look at it in outside view from behind. Move the trim until it flies straight again.
