The MD-11 Chris Evans packages that I have downloaded all have the inner aileron and elevator displaying permanently full down. Does anybody know of a solution?
Thanks,
AndyL

Hi. If you look at the zip preview you can see images and there was no problem.

Can you please be specific about a certain file and also what sim you are using? (FSX/FSXA/Steam/P3D v4.. etc)

Hi Chris and thanks for the response. I am using FSX Deuxe Edition and Expansion Pack. I have found the same problem on all the MD-11 packs. I downloaded the El Al pack again yesterday with the same result. Inner ailerons and elevator display as fully down. They don't move with the controls or with flap and undercarriage deployment and the aeroplane flies normally. Does look odd, though. I have tried a PrtScn but if it saved a screenshot I have not been able to find it. Thanks for all your packages - how you make time to do them all I cannot imagine. I am long retired and have no idea how I ever found time to go to work.
Regards,
Andy

After you hit Print Screen open MSPaint, and at the top just click where it says "paste". Then save to wherever you like.

Press PrtScn when the aircraft I'm trying to illustrate is on the screen - nothing shows up on MS Paint. I must be doing something wrong.

You should just get a simple free screenshot utility to take screenshots with one key. :)
So many to choose from

Hi, All,
I've now got my screenshot saved as a jpeg - thanks for your help. Last thing - how do I get the image into this post? The IMG button above this box doesn't help me :x .

Click on upload images at the top of the screen, click on browse on the pop up screen and browse to the location of the image you want to upload, double click on the image and select upload files. If it is within the size limit you will get this
SUCCESS: 2017-11-29_18-7-39-125.jpg
COPY AND PASTE:

insert this bit into your text and the image should appear click on preview to check.

Hi Andy sorry for late reply.

Confirmed that it works fine in P3Dv4 but I managed to try one in my version of P3D v3 (which is similar to a new version of FSX) and yes I see the problem is with Thomas Ruth versions of the MD11. As this stage I don't know why but there will be a fix. Hopefully I will have time to try a few things and if so I will upload revised versions because it is probably a few tweaks here and there.

Meanwhile if you want a MD11 (one of my favourite aircraft!) try some by SMS https://simviation.com/1/search?submit= ... egoryId=55

Also look at this great video of Lufthansa Cargo MD11 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BDizJxQyxI&t=639s
Makes you realise how realistic you can make your FSX or P3D flight.

Hi, Chris. I was beginning to think I'd gone a bit potty! Thanks for making time to have a look at it and thanks for all your other work in supporting FS users. I'll keep an aye open for updates and will have a look at your suggestions.
Regards,
Andy
