I've flown quite a few hours in FSW having 'forked-out' £20 for it a few months ago! I had to buy a 4GB graphics card to get the sim to run adequately and I must admit that it runs and looks good on my few years old PC! i had decided to complete the flying courses to get to the multi-engine rating but have 'stalled' at the flying test on the Pa28. flying the real thing was not difficult, flying FSW's version of it is a pain in the proverbial. It won't do anything it doesn't want for more than a few seconds. Landings are never elegant and the instructor is plain irritating. I must admit that I bought it as I understood that FSX aircraft could be loaded into it with some mods to files!................No, they do not fly any sense at all, and with completely inadequate cockpits. But as was pointed out to me in this forum previously, that isn't the idea of FSW anyway!
So I have returned to my older version of FSX to appreciate the wonderful larger aircraft available there, except the graphics in the older FSX look like something from Commodore 64 days. So I'm back with X-Plane.................but that's a different debate!
