David "Opa" Marshall produced an add-on compass to download for FS9 - can this be adapted for FSX? And if so, what is the drill? Many thanks for any clues or suggestions...

Not all gauges for FS9 will work for FSX most default gauges for FS9 will work for FSX but most addon gauges will not it has to do with the difference in graphics.
It depends on what he used to make the gauge with.

As usual - what's the gauge?

Seems Dave created a few - https://simviation.com/1/search?submit= ... &x=10&y=16

Looking that some of them - they are .cab which could be good for FSX compatibility. 8-)

Many thanks for your prompt and helpful responses to my inquiry. These should make it possible to sort out the question (one way or the other).
All the best,
