OK folks some may find my following remarks unreasonable but I thought I get it off my chest anyway;
Why do some developers insist on adding a co-pilot in the VC? FSX simply isnt capable of rendering
these in any acceptable way. The results are invariably gruesome creatures who scare the life
out of you when you look right. I am sure that they require a lot of work but honestly
the results just dont do justice to all that time spend. Forget the co-pilots and focus your
efforts on the other aspects of your creations.
For me many a good model has been spoiled by the presence of some gorgon sitting in the righthand chair.
I dont think it is worth the considerable effort it no doubt takes.

As a real pilot I agree. Although I will spend 99% of time sim time in the cockpit, I don't want to see some rendition when I do review my landing in instant replay.

But funny enough there was a thread recently about completely the opposite opinion -- why sometime there is no pilot to be seen.

We all have preferences. Ideally there would be an option for 'pilot. No pilot'. Tickbox.

Actually my main gripe is seeing these creatures when in the VC. You are flying, look right and there sits someone straight out of a Bela Lugosi movie as your co pilot.
(young kids, look him up !)
for me it is a turn off. sorry.

Why do they put him and his ilk in the plane?!?
