I have been watching what was going on with Flight Angels a little bit, they are doing a online Flights to raise money for special needs children around the world. To fly with them my understanding is you go to their web page and sign up for flights. I am not wealthy enough to partake in the event but was just looking in hoping for a larger turn out, it might be better than I can see.
Anyhow the said one Facebook if you like a post on Facebook and follow on Twitter they would draw names and I actually won a CD Key for FSX SE and working on getting it installed now.
I may need some help understanding it shortly on how to add on planes and whatnot.

Exactly the same as in FSX.

FSX-SE is basically the same as FSX Gold + Acceleration. The default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX

Like Hagar stated there is not a whole lot of difference between FSX and FSX-SE.
The biggest difference you would notice is frame rates are better on the steam edition .
The main advantage to the SE edition is no matter if your computer blows up and you have to buy a new one the files are always on steam and all you have to do is to download them.
You do not have to worry about losing disks or the disks going bad somehow,
The one big disadvantage is the scenery While you can add new scenery to it because you are using steam servers the scenery may not look the same because of the steam servers
All things considered the Steam edition is not a bad deal I play several steam games and like them a lot. <<u
and honestly speaking the differences are not that bad

Not sure why you think that. :?:

FSX-SE installs to your PC just like the boxed version of FSX. It will run perfectly well without going through the Steam server or even being online.

I spent 25 hours over the weekend flying and some more time adding more planes to FSX SE. I am totally loving this and flying with TeamSpeak.
