NO VC in my addon aircrafts.

Hello everyone,

hope all well.

Recently, i downloaded a whole bunch of aircrafts which said that they have proper virtual cockpit in them but for some reason it simply isnt working on my fsx.
There is only a option under the views but it just shows the scenery and nothing more.
Regarding the installation of the aircraft, i directly extracted them to the aircraft folder of my fsx. all my aircrafts are present there.
so, am i missing something here or there is some kind of an error with the fsx.

Any responses would be helpful.

Hi There,

It should become a habit never to install directly into a sim.
Always install or unzip into a temp folder, so you can see what there is and also read any docs or readme's.
Only then should you copy/paste into the sim.

Are there any VC's in the default aircraft?
Have you tries all the different 'A' & 'S' combinations?

Open the aircraft folder of one of the aircraft where you have no VC
Then open the Panel folder & open the panel.cfg, scroll down.
You will see stuff such as [Window01] etc
Further down there should be something like [Vcockpit01]

Also, let us have the name of one of there 'non-VC' aircraft so we can check for you.

Remember that if you are seeing a basic 2d panel - press F9 and you will see the VC if the aircraft has one.

Otherwise if you have already done that - can you please give an example?
