A340 misbehaviour

Is there a way round items refusing to activate? On A340 wing deice won't work, fuel pumps will not turn on, and autopilot will not activate. Have to start flight using Just Flight 757, establish climb and switch back to A340 where all will be turned on.

Hi and welcome to theforums. As always please state which file exactly you are having a problem with. Files vary quite a bit in how they work.

Items that refuse to work are wing deicing, fuel pumps and autopilot. These work when starting flight with Just Flight 757 and then returning to A340

Like Pete said in order for anyone to help you we need to know which A340 is giving you the problem so we can download it and look at it to see if we can spot the problem.
There are two many things here that could be causing this issue. It could be a missing gauge a bad file or who knows what. But if other things are working than I suspect a gauge problem of some kind but like I said we can not tell until we can look at the aircraft.

Hi. The issue is bigger than I thought. All A340s do this as do 737s. Corrected by using 757 Freemium to start flight.

Hi - It simply is not true to say that no Boeing 737 autopilots work in FSX. In fact I don't think I ever used one that didn't.

If you want help you have to be specific as stated above. I'm starting to sniff something funny here ......... :shifty:
