Ran across this texture issue at SECO (Francisco de Orelanna) Ecuador.



Default textures for this area no addons for this area installed FSX Gold W7 64.

Checked it on my standard FSX (SP1&2) installation Win 10 - everything normal.

Thanks for checking its not an area I visit regularly it was pick an airport from the list moment. I just checked my add on scenery folder and I don't have anything installed for this region its not a big deal as there is nothing here except trees.

Checked it on FS 2004 with Real Environment Pro, window's Vista Home Premium using a Classic Mallard: no texture problems.

I disabled all of my add on scenery for Fsx and still spring written in green letters, I hope everything runs normally when I re-enable them.

Not that I am aware of and this is the only time I have come across this issue, as its in the middle of nowhere its not a big deal unless I come across it again in an area I fly regularly. I usually install to a temporary folder and install manually so that I know what files are being installed and that nothing is overwritten.

After reading through the whole thread from my link it seems the culprit was the ORBX Iceland Demo.

Thanks Hagar I do have the Iceland demo installed but I unchecked it in the addon scenery library.

Thanks Hagar Iceland could well be the culprit after reading your links, I will have a look at the Orbx settings tomorrow.

Dave, I don't know if this helps, but I see some pretty strange things on the ground when I fly in South America too.

Just an update it was the Iceland scenery that was causing this issue.
