FSX wont load (from discs) to new Win10 computer, 64bit:( ran on old 64bit machine Vista to Win10): On new PC: Install Shield/Validate Install/ ..Removing applications and hangs: TaskManager have to delete '32Bit driver install'? Occurs with GOLD AND Deluxe editions of FSX discs. During Validate install is there a check whether the disks are referenced to another PC, at Microsoft?

This is strange indeed. First thing I would try is to not install FSX in the default location because of permission problems. Yes there is a way around this but to me it is so much easier to just install it in some other folder than to have to fool around with the permissions issue.
The only thing that you should have to do is to activate it. I am using FSX GOLD and had no problems installing but I installed on my D drive since I have 3 drives.
I was told that the deluxe edition would not run on windows 10 but I think that has changed but not sure.
Before trying to install again make sure there are no folders left anywhere if you should find any delete them especially the FSX.CFG file which is in a different folder.
I think it is on the C drive under users under roaming under Microsoft under Microsoft Games, or something like that. Look in the sticky post about where to find the FSX.CFG file.

Original PC with Win10 added: Users/appData/Roaming/Microsoft/FSX/fsx.cfg plus other data
New PC with Win 10: Users/pk6sa/Roaming/Intel (only) and Users/public/Roaming/ Intel (only)

I have added /Microsoft/ to Roaming file and will see how that goes.

Also: How can I change my registered email address. It has changed since 2005? pcope is now at pk6salt@bigpond.com

I am not sure if you can but I would not worry about as I do not think it is used for anything other than to prove you are a person and not a machine.
Perhaps when you go to validate FSX it might let you change it than, but like I said i would not worry about it as long as it works

If you mean on this forum you can change it in your profile. User Control Panel > Overview > Profile > Edit profile > Edit account settings.

I tried installing with users/Roaming/ microsoft/
didn' work : removed files
: Got error code 1607 script
1628 failed installation
