Black circle for spinning prop, Black canopy. Black cockpit gauges show but noting else all black. Is there a fix for this?

I notice this only affects one variation of the aircraft. To fix it try this. Paste a copy of the file named texture.cfg from the texture folder of any default aircraft into the texture.768 folder of the Skyraider.

I'm glad you understand. There's usually more than one way of doing things. As long as you fixed it. 8-)
