Good afternoon ...need some little help....to set the course in a 747 for ILS approach...you set it in the HSi rigtht upper corner... ....and in the MD11 ... ....Thanks a lot for the information...

Good morning, night or evening Pete...I dont have problems with ILS...just cant find how to activate the course or CDI in the MD11..example..MD11 MARTINAIR....FSX/FS2004 McDonnell Douglas MD-11F Martinair Cargo PH-MCY...This is the SMS Overland MD-11F in Martinair Colors. The pack contains an high quality livery of the PH-MCY of Martinair Cargo, Model, VC, FMC, Smoke Effects trials, and PW Sound...... , or any other MD11 that dosent have a panel from B737 or A321....
In the B747s you can set the course by adding or subtract on the right hand upper corner of the HSI...In other planes you have your heading and course in the front panel ....and can set either one...I would like to add a pair of pics but I dont know how... ops

To upload images you first have to create the images you want to upload than if you look at the main menu the far left hand side you will see a tab that says upload images just click on that and upload the image(s) you want . Be aware there is a limit as to the size of the file you can upload Pete or someone else can tell you the maximum file size allowed. Make sure you write down the location of the image so you can refer to it in your post.

Yeap...thank you very much.... garymbuska.... ...just forgot to put the heading to 270.. ...but although alignend ...almost with the rwy...the course is pointing to 310... ...the rest of the flying is great..... ...just this matter.....thank you very much....have a great day and an excellent week....

Theres one MD11 named IFDG MD11 KLM FAREWELL PH-KCD-FSX...THE PANEL IS OF A 737... ...great outside plane ...but the panel is not from a MD11...no fun...Other MDs....the DUTCH PACKAGE with KLM and MARTINAIR.. great MDs... but cant get to center course for ILs aproximation... ...In any 747 you get to fix the course and match it with the heading by adding or subtracting in the right upper corner of the HSI.. ..this CANNOT be done in the MDs11... ...Also... you dont have in the MDs the switch called ....APP....to activate the ILS.....it goes on automatically....this is not an issue....but the course is out of course...you dont know if youre centered, right or left...
Thanks for the information to fix this and all have great flights and excellent landings...
