A few years ago I bought FSX Gold, installed it and found no time to use it. Meanwhile I acquired quite a bit of add-ons which I have not installed yet. Now I just retired and will have time to start. My question is in which order should I install the following:

Freemesh X
REX
Orbex Global
Orbex Vector
Orbex weather themes
a few orbex airports as well as freeware from Simviation
a few sceneries and photo sceneries from Simviation
Orbex Pacific Northwest
FS water configurator
Ultimate terrain X

Maybe there would be a few items above which would be in conflict with each other.

I would appreciate your suggestions.

This is a tricky question
Orbx Global from what I have read replaces ALL of the default ground textures
It does not replace specific airports or other scenery so you might want to the other two Orbx scenery. Order I do not think it will matter
The same applies to any airports you want to add just make sure they are displayed last. SEE BELOW

As for Ultimate Terrain X it appears to be compatible with ORBX I am not sure if it will matter where it is installed
Now the Water texture night be okay I would make it the last entry in your FSX Scenery cfg file
In case you are not aware of this FSX has a nasty habit of putting any new scenery at the top of the list making it the first thing it displays and this is not all ways what you want.
As for the photo scenery try letting it stay on top and see what happens.
If you find strange things like airplanes in the middle of a hanger or other oddities than move it down to the bottom as well
The order in which scenery is displayed can be a trail and error procedure but it is important.

BUT BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR FSX SCENERY.CFG FILE AND SCENERY FOLDER AND ADDON SCENERY FOLDER PUT THEM ANYPLACE EXCEPT IN THE fsx FOLDER
Sorry about the capital letters but this is a important step forget to do this and you could wind up with garbage.
