Add-on compass for FSX

Is there somewhere available a download magnetic compass for installation on FSX aircraft? David Opa Marshall created an excellent magnetic compass for FS 2004 but this version does not function in FSX. Thanks in advance for any clues or suggestions...

Hi,

The gauge has been designed to work with FS9.
If you unzip the file in a temporary folder and copy the mag_compass.cab file in your panel folder it must work with FSX.
Don't forget to modify the panel.cfg file to create a reference to the desired gauge
eg: gaugexx=mag_compass!popup_compass_a, 0,0,100,100

Many thanks indeed. I'll try that on my next flight. Having this information adds much pleasure to flying, especially as the compass currently on my aircraft is too small to read easily.
