Plane appearing anywhere in airport on start-up

So i set the flight planner, plane to be at gate etc etc.
When FSX is started plane is not where it should be, frankly it could appear anywhere in the airport - helipads, halfway through a building, on waste ground between 2 taxiways etc - you get the idea.
I recently downloaded vPilot as i started on VATSIM. That is around when problem occured.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled. No impact.

Try contacting someone at VATSIM and see what they have to say. It could be a known problem and they have a walk around for it. The only other way would be to edit the flight plan for that aircraft and though not hard it is a little demanding as the order and the syntax have to be in a certain way or it will not work.
Sounds like the problem more than likely has to do with a airport that has been altered. The only way to fix that is to edit the flight plan and check out the airport layout to see where the gate is located at. It could be that the gate no longer exists at the airport and FSX is putting it at a random place

It is a strange bug. I don't think now its VATSIM, i think your close on the airport.
