FSX mission creator install problem
Posted: Tue Jan 19, 2016 3:21 amI know this may have been discussed before and if it has I apologize. I searched for this topic and found nothing related to it but I may not have used the right key words for it to come up. I apologize now if this has been discussed.
I am having a tough time getting the dll file to activate for the mission creator. I go to the Missions Creator folder in the SDK system and do what it says but it fails to start up when i activate the main FSX sim. I'm supposed to get the SimConnect dialog box but nothing shows up. I don't change anything in the dll.xml file. I have tried putting the file in various locations but to no avail. I located the FSX folder in the AppData/Microsoft/FSX folder, tried putting it there, still nothing. I tried putting it directly into the main FSX folder and still nothing. I've just about given up trying to get this thing to work.
