Hello to all SIMVIATION fans.. I installed FSX in a hard disk of 500 gb and not in the OS disk..Recently flying with FSAirlines and then using only in FSX as try out and in any craft, to any airport, any level or speed I have this problem and have no clue or information or whatever about it..FSX or the PC dosent give me any information or data error...I dont have activated ....All failures and all weather is normal, graphics set in custom because I lost my GF9800 gtx 512gb so Im using a Gf520..Only have my base airport (SVMI) activated in scenery addons......What happens is that I loose:::.GPS, AP, FD, ATC, HGD, ILS, VOR, ADF, ALT ..., I can use athr and fly and land the plane but all the rest is dead. No information or pop up error. It can appear on climb, level out mid flight or descent....with full fuel or almost empty...ts ramdom,,,,The FSX IS original and all three codes were activates.....CD1, CD2 and ACCELERATION....I already asked my fellow captains in TCA Venezuela and nobody knows the problem...I would appreciate any information...thanks in advance.... one poss problem and i've had similar is that you've not connected the generator from the engines and your running the battery down, now i've only had this happen when loading a saved flight.
Load up the default cessna with engines running and full avionics on ok, load an aircraft your having trouble with and go for a flight.

Good morning Steve...many thanks for your answer, but its not the case because I have all the other functions working like multifunction display (ils, vor, nav, arc ). you can switch to any frq but since theres no radio frq ( you can change the numbers but dosent work ), the primary flight display, ISA, standby alt and back up att, barametric pressure, in the over head panel the adirs, in the electrical panel the batery indicates 24.0, the access bus has the gen with no light but the apu is lighted off, all external lights, belt and no smoking soundo on/off, anti ice, pitot tube, cross feed, flt ctrl, hyd, fire panel ...all work.

I have noticed that in the 717-200 from ARLOT, that the additional gauges were you activate the captains voice for push back, climb, level movies, food, flight crew safety procedures, dont show.

Can it be a .DLL missing or the FSUIPC ? I cant tell because I dont get any feed back or information or notice. I can close FSX and restart it and IF there is something wrong it will give a notice, specially a .DLL. I dont use paid airplanes. Mine are downloaded from SIMVIATION 99 % and few from MEDIAFIRE.

I don't know man. You give us all kind of information but no FACTS. You suspect, dll, FSUIPC, etc. Then you slip us a 'mickey' (ie: '... Disc1, Disc2 and Acceleration..'). Now we are supposed to GUESS that that 3 disk set is LEGIT, because FSX Gold plus Acceleration is a 2 disk set. Something is wrong here. You need to give us specs, then accurate description of your FSX installation software (by name). So this 'mess' don't 'compute'.

Don't have the problems but must agree with Milesg on number of disks for FSX Gold w/Acceleration as I too have 3 disks. Disk 1 and 2 for FSX and disk 3 for Acceleration complete with product keys which activated my sim.

Yes I had my PC reinstalled. All the progrmas in C because of a erased .DLL.

I installed a original FSX Gold edition that has 3 CDs. Disks one and two for FSX plus one for acceleration. Both codes were accepted without problems, one for the CDs of FSX and one for the acceleration. I installed FSX in a 500 GB disk and Its not a partition mainly for space to in all the information for FSX.. From sceneries to crafts manuals, textures ...name it..

All was running great until about a week ago when in mid flight I saw a blick then these instruments went black.. (A321 default ), but in any othe plan you get he same situation.

GPS, AP, FD, ATC, HGD, ILS, VOR, ADF, ALT ..., Not workin because there is no radio fqy. you can change the digits but there is no response..

I thought it was a .DLL but FSX would advise you if its missing.

I went to GOOGLE and read that the FSUIPC could be the problem because its used in paywares for the comnunication between gauges and FSX. I dont have paywares. But probably this could be the problem.

Thats why I was asking , .DLL or FSUIPC...? . Personally, I think its the FSUIPC, but if someone had this problem and solvet it, please advise how...

Hi Miles,

I very much doubt it's the fsuipc unless corrupt in some way, fsuipc is mainly used for the configuration and setting of buttons/keys and axis on your controls.
FSuipc user guide tells you how to remove/disable fsuipc but you don't need it for the default aircraft.
My FSX is also fsx gold (3 disks) .

You need to give more information:
Which OS are you using?
Make sure fsx is in it's own directory such as c:\microsoft games\fsx
During install, make sure you are the admin of the computer and also when you run it that you are the admin account.
during install turn off UAC and if you can live with it run at a low level till install complete and you have run it at least once.
Turn off anti virus during install and double check/disable firewall and add FSX as a trusted program.

Do the Rome to Nice airline pilot flight as that also uses the airbus, do you get same result?

The more precise info you can give then those that know FSX inside out can help you.
If it was running fine what have you changed, have you installed anything new? sounds like you have lost various gauges.

As for how many disks one has for FSX gold it comes down to where and when purchased. In my case I have two disks one for FSX and one for acceleration. But the disks in my case are DVD'S not CDS one has to remember that a DVD holds more than a CD does.
As for the problem the only way I know to make sure it is not a battery or generator is to do what I do make a key sequence for each function. I use shift + B for battery and shift plus G for generator. Of course there is also the master avionics switch but since you are getting some gauges that rules that out, But I have had some gauges in some aircraft stay on even though the battery or generator is not set on, So just because you are seeing some gauges does not necessarily mean that the battery or generator is on.
If the plane you are using has a overhead panel or a panel that shows the status of the generator make sure to check that, The only other thing that could cause this would be a bad or corrupt gauge(S) Try using a panel from a different that you know works and see what happens it really does not matter which panel as this is only for test purposes.

I assume the Airbus is the default FSX airplane. If so, add this line in (Electrical) section of aircraft cfg: 'electric_always_available= 1' (without the quotes). This is a 'workaround' which allows the battery(s) to stay on 100% of the time irregardless of panel switch(s) or gauge(s) ( 'XML' type). Then your panel won't 'black out' on you. Let us know if this solved your problem. And NO it won't be FSUIPC at ANY time (period)!!!

It took me some time to be sure that it was fixed but after a time flying around freestyle and in FSAirlines.
Its fixed.. the problem was that my first flight from SVMI to MUHA, although I landed, FSX didnt close the flight so it always showed up as NOT done.
When I would fill the Flight planner in FSX, this flight always shoed up. LOOP style.
Usually you have your last flight or none, depending if you go from one airport to another as to stop several times or just opend FSX.
In this case it was fixed in the Flight Planner files..
SOLUTION.....erase it from the files were all the flighs are stored.
All working great...

Ya man i think your missing a disk.....FSX gold has 3 disks.....might wanna check your copy i think yours might be the knock-off.

Well I be darned. I do have 3 DVD's, 2 Deluxe and 1 Acceleration. Just checked. Sorry about. I take it back.
