FSX C-172.

Hi all.

I'd like to lower the lighting in the VC of the Default C-172.
When I fly this aircraft at night the VC lighting is much to bright to be able to see anything outside.
Does anybody here at Simviation know how I could turn it down a little ?
Cheers.

You could try to change the light that the panel uses. I think you will find it in the aircraft cfg file under the light section
I think it is called vclight but not 100% sure At work now and can not look

Thanks Gary.

I've done a bit of googling on the subject since my original post.
Tried many ideas from different Forums, which haven't made any difference to be honest.
Well, it worked for the 2D panel, but not for the VC panel which is the one that I think is far to bright for night flying.
I'll keep looking for a solution, unless someone on this Forum has been successful and would like to share the secret. :D

look in your effects folder find alternate VC lite and change the light listed in the conf. I used a deep red and this corrected the extra bright default lite, there are several there.
