I have both FS9 and FSX, so I recently decided to add the default FS9 777 to FSX. Once I chose the obligatory thumbnail photo, the aircraft information displayed correctly on the aircraft selection menu. The models, animations, panel backgrounds, sounds, textures, ATC, and flight dynamics all functioned correctly, but the panel gauges are missing. I tried to fix this by copy-pasting the .gau file (there was only 1) contained within the aircraft's folder to the FSX Gauges folder, but the problem persisted. I then tried copy-pasting the entire FS9 Gauges folder into FSX, but met the same result. This is really strange, since this fixed a similar problem when I added the default FS9 Cessna Caravan Amphibian. Perhaps I have corrupted gauge/panel files ? Has anybody experienced or fixed this problem in the 777?

Though I am not sure why you would want the default FS2004 version when the Skyspirit version is actually a better detailed model with lot's of liveries and options available.

I agree with Pete here but one has to remember that some times gauges will come in a CAB file and it is not always in the gauge folder so people miss it and than can not figure out why they are missing gauges
The best way to spot a CAB file is to look at the extension of the file it will not be a .GAU file but a .CAB file instead. A lot of up-loaders will put a CAB file in a separate folder and people will miss it.
I know that the 777 I downloaded had a CAB file in it for the main panel Now a days this is becoming more common.

I didn't even think of that. I'll double check the folders. Perhaps I just missed something.
