Having trouble with all my 737 Max8 airplanes and the jetways. After clicking CTRL + J the jetway will move but doesn't stop at the aircraft door. It continues past the nose of the plane until it stops next to the terminal. It reminds me of a gate where the plane would do a power out procedure. Has anyone else had this problem. All other planes/ jetways work fine. Is there a way to correct this so that the jetway is positioned correctly?

This is controlled by the parking space you are using and the place where you set it at.
The only way to fix this is to reposition the parking spot. In the real world there is a spot painted on the tarmac to let the ground crew know where to stop the plane at and in FSX and FS9 there is the same thing you have to make sure that the stopping point is in the correct place or it will not work.
When making parking spaces you have to make sure you select the correct space and place it in the correct position .
In other do not put a small space for a Large aircraft or you will have this problem.

Thanks for your reply. Didn't work. Used TDS Max8 American Airlines at DFW. Tried all three gate layouts small medium and heavy. All parking lines or stop marks. Jetway moves but will not stop at aircraft. Continues to go to side of terminal. Does this have anything to do with number of exits in aircraft. cfg file?

OK forget about the above:
Try these - (see TDS 737 Max8 section)
Found on the TDS forum:

That is a possibility as some aircraft have more than one door and in the real world you have to park the aircraft in a different place than normal.
B767.s have two doors that can be used to connect the jet way two. we used to advise the captain that we were going to use the 2 left door instead of the 1 left door so he knew he would have to pull further up than normal.
The only other thing that could be causing this issue is the program itself it might not recognize the aircraft that you are using. I had a program that had automatic gates but the program only recognized certain aircraft and would not work for others. There may be a way to add the aircraft into the program
If not than you are stuck with this problem.
The only other thing I thought of would be to change the aircraft type in the aircraft cfg file to a type that the gates work with but they will need to be somewhat similar or it might not work.

Hi Pete. That did it!!!!!! Your exit codes work like a charm. Thank you Thank you Thank you. All Max7,8 and 9 aircraft now have accurate jetway attachment points to the aircraft. Much appreciated. Dave ( blackgranada77).
