Look in the sound folder of the suspect aircraft you should find a file called sound cfg file
I would almost bet that the sound has been aliased to a aircraft that you do not have.
Here is an example
[fltsim]
alias=Airbus_A321\sound
The sound here is coming from the Airbus_A321
and if you do not have this aircraft you will have no sounds
If that is the case you have a couple of options you can try to look for a sound file for it or use the sound from a similar aircraft that you have in your fleet.
Two of the biggest problems when downloading free aircraft is that they either do not have a panel and they do not have sounds for the aircraft.

You have to open the main FSX folder than look under the Simobjects folder than under Aircraft. Than click on the aircraft than under the Panel folder.
FSX is by default located on Your C drive under Program Files Or if you have a 64 bit system it is under Program Files(86).
You can use note pad to open any TEXT file and the panel cfg file is a text file
If you still need help send me a private message.
To do this just click on my name

I presume the Comanche 250 is the FS2004 model by Mike Stone. This is aliased to use the sound from the FS2004 default C182 which is not included with FSX.

The easiest way over it would be to copy the Sound folder of the FSX default Mooney Bravo & paste it into the folder of your Comanche. Overwrite files/folders when prompted.
