First, un-zip the zipped folder. Just "right-click" the zipped file and select "extract all".
That should create a folder with the same name as the zipped file. Open that folder.
A lot depends on the download. There could be several folders, usually called "gauges", "effects", and the add-on aircraft itself. Most downloads will have a "read-me" text file which will contain directions. Basically, it's the same for all add-ons.
If the unzipped folder contains just the aircraft folder, no additional gauges or effects, simply copy the aircraft folder and then locate the FSX folder on you "C" drive", open it, find the "simobjects" folder, open it, and paste the aircraft folder into the "airplane" folder.
If there were additional gauge or effects folders, copy the *contents* of those folders into the "gauge" and "effects" folders in the FSX directory.
