in free flight , set aircraft to 747 and choose airport of you liking.. press fly now, then wait for flight to load.. Once in the cockpit, press the semicolon key. Save flight menu will come up. Then one simply names the current flight, saves it, and then sets it as default flight.

I always set up a flight and save in where you select fly now, just click on save and name flight then check box make default, next time FSX opens your selected 747 will be there and you can change flight plan if you are wanting to.

Be sure to save your default flight in parking, at a gate or at an active runway. Makes things easier than spawning up in the air.

See if this helps.

Set up a flight in Free Flight. Select aircraft, airport, runway/start position, time, weather etc. Then click the Save button.

Give the flight a suitable name & check the "Make this the default flight" box. Click OK to save it.

Very nice Paul. There are several of these pretty little aeroplanes based at Shoreham IRL.
