Eagle. We have a problem!....

..... :o .... :o ....!

Hello Christen Eagle II owners.... ;) ...>>>

http://simviation.com//fsxprops18.htm

45.7 MB file.

None of my most important gauges are showing up on the front VC Cockpit panel!

The gauges are packed within the Panel Folder, and are listed, but they don't show up.
I have even copied the complete set of gauges into the Gauges Folder...still no luck!
Mousing over the panel area shows the location of the gauges and their settings...but no actual gauges appear!

This is what they should look like...>>>

Any ideas, Chums?

Flying aerobatics with no working gauges is no fun...trust me!.... ...!

Aside from anything else -- why are you using the old archived site from at the latest - 2008?

Here is the current location http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1 ... egoryId=62

Judging from the thumbs -- looks like the uploader didn't include them in his update. Nice looking a/c - maybe someone will ...

Thanks for the heads-up, Pete!

I did the usual Sim V library search first of all, with no luck, (an exact description is always needed!), so I did the usual Google search for the same type of aircraft for FSX, and Sim V popped up in the search, (maybe the old archived model), so that was the model I downloaded and installed.

Just in the process of downloading and installing the craft via your link!

Trying BOTH downloads....44.56 MB...and 87.11 MB.....see which one works best...with the gauges!!

Will give that a try!.... :D ...!

Thanks again Pete!

Will report back!

Its a funny old do...!

Paul.....at the top of the loop.... ...!

Try pasting the texture named gaugeglass.bmp from this fix to all the Texture subfolders of the Eagle -->

Thanks for renewing my enthusiasm for this exciting model Christen Eagle II, Doug.
I had given up on it yesterday, even after I had downloaded the glass fix!

It works so marvellously in FS 2004, that I spent the rest of the day enjoying flying it in my FS 2004 again...as always!

At this stage I have installed the "FS 2004 version" into my FSX, and applied the "glass fix" into that FS 2004 versions, and it works a treat!
Obviously, the FS 2004 "Previews" don't display fully in FSX, but I can put up with that for the moment. (I have lots of my favourite FS 2004 installed in my FSX).

If I can drag myself away, later on today, I will re-install the FSX versions again, the full set, (88.1 MB), and apply the "glass fixes" to them,
...and see how it goes!

In the meantime I am finding that the Christen Eagle II is somewhat more speedy, and flick-able, than my trusty Cessna 150 Aerobat...bless her cotton socks!

Been watching the; "Airshows", on the Freeview "Travel Channel"!.... :D ....!

Thanks again, Doug!

Paul.....in a bit of a spin!..... ...!

P.S...no "bubble" for me either.!... :( ....1
