I have never had this problem But the odds are what ever you installed caused the problem you are now having .I hope that this was not one of those downloads that has a self installer. I can not say it enough STAY AWAY FROM PROGRAMS LIKE THESE UNLESS YOU KNOW THEY ARE OKAY.
I hope you made a backup before you made any changes.
The other thing you can try is to move the scenery down to the very bottom of the list. This MIGHT solve the problem.
If this was installed then try uninstalling it to see if that brings things back to normal.
If none of the above works and you do not have a backup than the only option left is to uninstall and reinstall FSX. Have fun :violin:
Please note I am not trying to be nasty here But the bottom line is one has to be careful when making changes to any program. And the golden rule is if you are not 100% sure of what something is going to do than BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP before you do anything. 8-)

Hi Gary,
This scenery add on was not a download, its a 3 cd boxed from " PLAYSIMS " I purchased from amazon. After uninstalling the add on fsx is back to normal.
I will try moving the scenery to the bottom of the list as u suggest Many thanks for your help

Lots of luck
Like I said I am not sure if putting it on the bottom of the library list is going to help it might not. But it cannot hurt to try.
Nothing ventured nothing gained
