Weather Bullitin for the South Pacific Islands area - might be interesting for those that can fire up Real World Weather in their Sims and try cruising thru Typhoon Winds and take some "Screen Shots" !!!

Anything other than clear blue skies, still air, and Summer warmth, always keeps me grounded in both my Flight Sims and my Bike!.... ;) ...!

I popped into my local Supermarket yesterday to buy some Braising Steak for a nice, super-heated, Beef Vindaloo Curry for Supper, and I commented to the Lady on the counter, that a nice hot Curry would be perfect for the present miserable weather we are having, and talking about "weather" encouraged her tell me about the Hurricane weather that her relatives are presently experiencing in Western Australia, Perth to Darwin....South Pacific!

She was concerned enough to tell me all about it!

I must keep my eye on my New Zealand Flight Sim Chums.

Paul....Weathering the Storm....whether its windy...or not... ...!

If you notice the ICON i use that is my Squadron Patch VW4 Hurricane Hunters. I was stationed here in Jacksonville Florida NAS JAX and I flew in both the WC131 Supper Connie and the WP3 Orion. The Navy were not chickens like the Air Force we flew the storms at 500 feet above sea level not at 10,000 feet or higher.
I flew through Hurricane Agnes back in Early 1970 it was packing 125 MPH winds We thought the winds were going to take out the radar as it actually bent the mount. The radar was a APS 80 and it was put in the bomb bay of the P3 and had to be lowered so we would not get a false blip off the nose of the plane.
You have no idea what it is like to fly through a storm like that in a stiff winged P3. It is your worst roller coaster ride times 10 except there is no going upside down.

Perhaps some Virtual 'humanitarian' or 'relief' flights after the storm passes... pull out the heavy lifters!

Thinking of everyone feeling the effects by the storm...

Watch, a week or 2 from now or maybe even a Month, Flight MH370 Mysteriously shows up just kinda bobbing in the water up and down, after all those south pacific ocean currents and winds and under-currents move around on the ocean bottom.

suddenly up pops MH370 Mysteriously,,,,,,, :o
